This is Miss Amber Blankenship's first year at Sunrise Academy.  She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BA in Early Education with a minor in American Sign Language.  In 2004, Miss Blankenship completed her student teaching in the Louisville City School District.  She taught kindergarten in Charlotte, NC.  Since then, Miss Blankenship substituted for Southwestern City Schools, headed the tutoring program for the Southwest YMCA and taught in the Head start program.
