E-Learning for Grades Preschool through 9th

Assalamu Alaikum Sunrise Academy Families,

Inshallah this message finds you all well and in good health. The safety, health, and well-being of our staff, students and community is, and will always be, our top priority. We will continue monitoring the development of COVID-19 and will continue to plan accordingly.

To ensure you of our loyalty to our students and their learning and achievement, we have created a schedule for students during our extended break.  With much uncertainty occurring for Ohio schools, it is our intent to be as consistent as possible in providing learning opportunities. We also understand the dynamics of parental involvement and want to ensure that the schedule and subjects are a commitment to formal learning and not meant to hinder or disrupt the valuable family obligations that you may have as a family.  We are asking for your support in helping your child engage in their education from on-line learning during this time and we look forward to continuing our work with you as members of the Sunrise Academy community and family.

Schedules are listed under E-Learning tab below.

Reminder: Sunrise Academy will be closed beginning Monday, March 16th until Friday May 1st. School will resume on Monday, May 3rd.

It is our intent to work cooperatively with all families without being overwhelming. If you have any questions or concerns or if you are having issues with technology and are unable to get Internet access,  please do not hesitate to contact myself or your child’s teacher for clarification.

The Prophet (saw) told us: “There is a remedy for every disease, and when the remedy is applied to the disease it is cured with the permission of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.” (Sahih Muslim)

This is a great reminder that Allah (SWT) gives us life and sustenance while also testing us with disease and illness. In tough times, instead of being angry and frustrated, remember that Allah (SWT) has a cure for every illness so we need to come closer to our Creator. Let’s use this time to do just that, inshaAllah!

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Again, we apologize for the convenience and appreciate all your support. Please stay safe and take care of our babies!

Yours in Education,

Mrs. Mona Widdi Salti, M.Ed

Principal

We will communicate more on this issue over the next several weeks. Our goal is not to have any student negatively impacted by this break period.

The school building will be closed from Friday, March 20th - Friday, April 3rd. All staff have been instructed to work from home.
