Ms Basher - Islamic Studies and Quran

Assalam alykum Dear Scholars and Parents,

My name is Hanan Basher and I am the Islamic Studies teacher for grades 3, 4 and 5 as well as teaching Quran to grade 3.

This is my first year at Sunrise Academy and I am excited to join the Sunrise family and be part of the Stallions!

My qualifications include: Diploma in Islamic Studies from the International Open University; Certificates in teaching Arabic and English as foreign languages; Certificate in Training and Coaching and have attended classes on World Religions.

I have a Masters degree in Pharmacy and have worked in medicine regulation for over 10 years. However, my passion for teaching in an area of personal and spiritual development finally prevailed. I aspire to help raise generations of Muslims who are confident in their faith and their abilities to build their lives in this life and the hereafter. All while being conscious and active in contributing positively to their society.
