School Uniform

Exciting news! We will be partnering with French Toast for the sale of our school uniforms for the 2026–2027 school year. 

French Toast will provide gym shirts, field trip shirts, jumpers, navy pants for both boys and girls, and polo shirts. We hope that this will be a convenient one-stop shopping experience with great pricing and quality.

Uniform Policy

Preschool children must have an extra complete change of clothing kept at school.

The following are the requirements for the Sunrise Academy uniforms:

Girls: (KG-4th):

  • Jumper: Navy blue jumper with Sunrise Academy logo with a light blue collared blouse.

  • Blouse: Long sleeve or short sleeve light blue blouse. If your daughter would like to wear a long-sleeve shirt underneath the short-sleeve polo shirt, it must be a solid white or solid navy shirt underneath—no other colors or patterns please.

  • Pants: Navy blue colored dress pants.

  • Optional sweater: Plain navy blue sweater/sweatshirt (No logos).

  • Socks: White or navy blue solid color.

  • Hijab: White (required only during Salah time).

  • Shoes: Black, Brown, or athletic (no sandals, no boots, no slides).

Gym:

  • Gym shirt, long sleeve, sold by Sunrise Academy only.

  • Pants: Navy / black colored solid sweatpants—No stripes or logos.

5th Grade Girls

  • Jumper: Navy blue jumper with Sunrise Academy logo, with a light blue collared blouse.

  • Pants: Navy blue colored dress pants.

  • Optional sweater: Plain navy blue sweater (No logos).

  • Socks: White or navy blue, solid color.

  • Hijab: Mandatory—White one-piece hijab only (NO wrap hijabs).

  • Shoes: Black, Brown, or athletic (NO sandals, slippers, boots, or slides).

Gym:

  • Gym shirt sold by Sunrise Academy only.

  • Pants: Navy / black colored solid sweatpants—No stripes or logos.

6th - 12th Grade Girls:

  • Abayas: Navy Blue Abaya with Sunrise Academy logo

  • Optional sweater: Plain navy blue sweater (No logos).

  • Socks: White or navy blue solid color.

  • Scarves: Mandatory—White 2-piece scarf only with white under the scarf piece or instant Wrap Hijab (NO other Hijabs allowed).

  • Shoes: Black, Brown, or athletic (NO sandals, slippers, slides, or boots).

Gym:

  • Gym shirts are sold by Sunrise Academy only.

  • Pants: Navy / black colored solid sweatpants—No stripes or logos.

K-12th-grade Field Trip shirts:

  • Field trip shirts are sold by Sunrise Academy only.

Boys: (KG-8th):

  • Shirts: Light blue Polo shirt with Sunrise Academy logo. If your son would like to wear a shirt underneath the short-sleeved polo shirt, it must be a solid white or solid navy long-sleeved shirt.

  • Pants: Navy blue dress pants.

  • Optional Sweater: Plain navy blue sweater/sweatshirt (No logos).

  • Socks: White or navy blue solid color.

  • Shoes: Black, Brown, or athletic (no sandals, boots, or slides).

Gym:

  • Gym shirts are sold by Sunrise Academy only.

  • Navy / black colored solid sweatpants—No stripes or logos.

  • Gym shoes

Boys: (9th -12th):

  • Shirts: White Polo shirt with Sunrise Academy logo. If your son would like to wear a shirt underneath the short-sleeved polo shirt, it must be a solid white or solid navy long-sleeved shirt.

  • Pants: Black dress pants.

  • Optional Sweater: Plain navy blue sweater/sweatshirt (No logos).

  • Socks: White or navy blue solid color.

  • Shoes: Black, Brown, or athletic (no sandals, boots, or slides).

Gym:

  • Gym shirts are sold by Sunrise Academy only.

  • Navy / black colored solid sweatpants—No stripes or logos.

  • Gym shoes

Dress down dress code:

  • Modest Apparel is required. Girls 5th–12th must wear a hijab covering the neck, ears, and all hair. Shirts must come to mid-thigh. Clothing for boys and girls must be loose and not form-fitting. No leggings or yoga pants. Boys are not allowed to wear shorts or sleeveless shirts. No excessive jewelry and no makeup.

Grooming and Make-up:

  • The length of fingernails shall be trimmed and kept short.

  • No make-up (including “Halal” nail polish).

Hat Policy:

  • The students are not allowed to wear hats at Sunrise Academy.
